PHP error in new installation

Error in a new installation:

PHP Notice: Undefined property: ExtCat::$popup in /components/com_jevents/views/ext/helpers/extviewnavtablebariconic.php on line 38

PHP 5.3.6
Joomla 1.7.0
JEvents 2.0.1

Ideas?

Does this error happen in the installation process or after the install? If it happens when accessing the component, in which part happens?

Can you please try to reinstall the component? It seems that some files were not properly installed.
