Error after installation

hi,

i am getting the following error after installation:

You have JEvents 1.5.5g but Joomla older than 1.5.23 - please upgrade Joomla.

I have exactly the same problem running 1.6 . After installation and creation of a menu button to a monthly calendar. When clicking the button I get this error.

I installed the mods and can get a small calendar in a module but when I click on a date in it I get the same error. I have made sure there is a category etc...

A little lost.

PS I have a 1.5x install running perfectly on the last version so I know your software is very nice :)

I didn't see this before and just posted same issue. I'm on Joomla 1.5.22 and just downloaded J Events 2.01 and installed it.

Please upgrade to Joomla! 1.5.23 or latest 1.6.x/1.7.x versiones before asking about this error. It's a problem due to a security fix in latest Joomla! versions.

Upgraded 1.6.0 to 1.6.5 and all the problems seem to solved. Thanks very much for the help, definately the nicest calendar out there.
