Screen report - number of events listed by category + repeat

Hello,

Would it be possible for a Jevents main menu option for a report showing how many events are listed, and in what categories, plus if they are repeating, and what kinds of repeats they are.

Any possibilities here any time soon - this would be a huge tool, especially for sites loaded with lots of events, to make sure about category balances, etc - thanks!

It can be done - its all a matter of priorities.

Its a nice idea - but its going to be after all the Joomla 1.6 migrations and are finished before I get a chance to do anything about it I'm afraid.

Hi Geraint, any chance this can happen soon?

The task of managing over 60+ minimum number of events at any given time is becoming important for us..and to know at a glance, of how many events we have, and in which categories they are...would be fantastic.

At least the bare minimum to begin with would be nice to see the numbering next to the list of events in the back end..so when we press "see all"...we can see how many there are.

As a quick solution what do you think of including the number of matching events in the category/calendar dropdowns in the backend. i.e. when you filter the events by category you see how many matching events there are before you select the category in the dropdown?

That would be a fantastic start and would help us save time by counting manually, thanks
