Backup / Restore for Layout Editor
by TopCop » Sat Mar 19, 2011 4:04 pm
Would it be possible to get a backup/restore button for the layout editor?
As for me, I'm often "playing around" with the editor and after I have saved the changes I'm not always stisfied with the new look.
So it would be great to have a backup/restore button and get back the last stored configuration.
Meanwhile can you tell me where the data of the layout editor is stored so I migth do a manual backup of this file before changing the layout.
Thanks,
TopCop

Its stored in the database in jos_jev_defaults
What I do it have a text editor open in another window and 'cut and paste' various versions of HTML into the text editor to backup before testing changes. Also for testing I keep several versions of different layouts that I can recreated with a simple ctl-c/ctl-v .
