timechooser feature

Im still heavy testing jevent also with some other people. What we found out - it will be good to add timechooser to select start and end time of event. Users often type 9:00 but they mean 21:00 etc... If there will be timechooser - something similar to datechooser with difference it will select time then it will be 100% sure what time they mean. I think its not bad idea ...what u think ?

Have you seen the time chooser in the rsvppro addon?

Hi Geraint,
Unfortunately I havent used rsvppro so dunno. What I mean is to make timechooser in somehow visual way so its 100% certain what time user means. I testing jevents with other 12 people. 5 people from 12 typed time wrongly when started event ( for example they typed 8:00 and forgot switch pm so I thought they mean 8:00 am or typer 9:00 and meant 21:00 but overlooked or forgot use 24/12 switch - simply says they have been confuzed and typed time exactly how they had it in their head).
I found this as so far best example of what I mean - on following url its timechoosers taken in more visual way so event most silly person I think will use it right way and choose proper time they really mean...
In following url u find several visual timechoosers u can drag clock pointers and select proper time which shows aside in numeric form too...

I have been thinking about this more deeply - altrought the timechoosers in URL above are visually appealing it dont resolve 12/24 hours clock confusion of users ... maybe simple 3 dropdownboxes with force 24 hours mode will be more clear. 1st dropdownbox will set hours: 1:00 - 24:00, second minutes:01-59, third box with seconds I think is not really nesessary..

man this timechooser is really best I saw - it will be great if u implement it to JEV. Altrought I would welcome if there will be force 24 hours mode in config so than people will have not problem because somebody can still forgot select am or pm in 12 hours mode. (1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24)

24hour mode is already on the list.
I like it because its so fast, clean and easy to understand. What do you think of using it for the date too - possibly using a month of days for the 3rd row. So year, then month then a mini calendar for the days.

yes u right its really very clean and fast to select. I think it will be great to make it as datechooser too anyway I think if users can select which datechooser to select if the old one or new one in backend because I think maybe some people will like old one...
