Additional Fields

I was wondering if there was any way to add additional fields to an event. For example, I would like to add an "attire" field so that it when I create an event there is an explicit field that must be filled in regarding the attire of an event. Currently I am placing that information in the "Extra Info" section, but it'd be nice to be able to add my own fields

This can be done via a plugin but I agree it would be a good idea to create a generalised extra field plugin so that you can add more fields.

The thing that is putting me off is adding checkboxes, radioboxes and select dropdowns becomes quite complex. I'll have a think.

p.s. You could "rename" the extra_info field to "Attire" in the JEvents translations file. With the latest version of JEvents 1.5.3 you can create custom translations which won't get overwritten when you upgrade.
