More choices for EVENT views

As I use event list almost exclusively my suggestions focus only on that area. I believe that this is a highly useful component and look forward to future upgrades!

It would be great if there were a great degree of choice about what is listed:-
1. ALL current/future events (not just 100 OR this year)
2. PAST events - for some of my visitors this is as important (or more important) they want to know what has been done and where
ie, Rather then just "Unpublished" there should be a "PAST/OLD" flag as well as "UnPublished"
3. Perhaps a front end filter option for "From" to "To" date markers as a lot of my visitors are trying to work out if we have free time around a specific month etc.
4. More column switches - rather then having to hack the files with extended views etc. eg Day, Date, Start Time, End Time, Category, Description
