JAdmin Menu Navigation

Is it possible to reduce the number of menu items that appear in the Joomla Admin panel...

Ideally, the only item that would appear in the Component Menu would be "Jevents", all other items would appear as submenus.

eg:

Banner
Contacts
Jevents
- JEV Locations
- JEV People
- JEV Tags
- RSVP Pro
News Feeds
Polls

This of course can be achieved with other 3rd party tools, but would be nice if this was native to Jevent installations

this is very difficult (if not impossible) since they are separate components and Joomla assumes that submenu items in the backend are all the same component. I did try I promise

I use the "Advanced Administrator Menu" in the backend and find it very helpful.
