For some reason the installation package does not work on Joomla 1.7. We're working on it. If you have helpful hints, please let us know.

did you try the package from the downloads area?

They are not the same package you attached here (although the language files are exactly yours) and there is a version for Joomla! 1.5 and one for Joomla! 1.6
