Allow Public Servers to view Registered Event Links
by FalsifyTheWorld » Thu Jul 19, 2012 4:10 pm
Hello.
I would like to know if there is a way to allow non-logged in Public users to view Registered/Special event links (i.e: the event titles).
In other words, I want to create a calendar event with access level "Registered or Special." I want only "Registered or Special" users to view the complete event details. But, I also want "Public" users to know this event exists by being able to view the event in the normal monthly calendar view. If "Public" users click on the event link, they would have to log in in order to view the event details.
Please let me know if there is a way of achieving this.
Thank you.

Hello,
Yes this is a plugin which allows you to restrict event information to set usergroups. It is available to Silver Club Members. here is it's description:

- Code: Select all
A simple plugin that hides event descriptions from users who are not logged in. You specify a message to replace the description with and can also include a white list of category ids - the event detail for the events in these categories is visible to all users.
