How to go from JEvents 1.5.24 to 1.5.26?
JEvents 2.0 was launched over 2 years ago and the latest stable version is version 2.2 which will run on Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 2.5. JEvents 1.5 is therefore no longer actively supported - you should upgrade to JEvents 2.2+ as soon as possible.

How to go from JEvents 1.5.24 to 1.5.26?

I'm currently still on JEvents 1.5.24 and would like to move it to 1.5.26. I don't want to go to JEvents 2 at this time. That will come when I move to Joomla 2.5.
A few questions as I don't know how to proceed
Do I just use the extension manager to install the 1.5.26 components straight over the top of 1.5.24?
Does it matter that the jump omits 1.5.25?
Will JEvents retain its current configuration or will I have to set all the configuration options all over again?
Will all the database tables associated with JEvents retain all the event information currently in them or will I have to put it in again?
I am minded to upgrade JCE as well as I am running an old version of that too. If I go to the current version of JCE do I have to do that before upgrading JEvents, afterwards, or doesn't it matter when I do it?
Apologies for all the questions. Here's hoping you can help.
Thank you,
Nigel

Hello are you actually reffering to Joomla as there is no JEvents 1.5.26.. but there is JEvents 1.5.6 which can just be installed over your previous copy.

Sorry - you're quite right. I did mean from JEvents 1.5.4 to 1.5.6. Great - so I can just go straight over the top and I won't lose anything, settings, data. Does it matter when I update JCE (if I do that as well)?
Many thanks,
Nigel

I would just do JCE the same way, using the latest JEvents version should be compatible with JCE.
