Legend module does not show child categories

Hello,
I upgraded JEvents from 1.5.4 to 2.2.8.
Now the legend module (2.2.3) does not show the child categories, only the main categories.
Setting 'hide inactive child categories' in the module parameters to yes or no makes no difference.
It worked correct in JEvents 1.5.4.
I tried installing the old legend module (1.5.4) with JEvents 2.2.8, and this also works, but newer versions of the module (1.5.5 and newer) dont show child categories.
Joomla 1.5.26
php 5.3.17

Hello,

We will look into this, unfortunately it's becoming hard to test code with Joomla 1.5 as well.

Hi Tony,

Thanks for the quick reply.
Found it: I had the main categories selected in the menu-item for the component.
I deselected them, and now it works as espected.
I wasn't aware that JEvents 2.2 works a bit different from 1.5.4
