[SOLVED] How to Add Event from Frontend

How do I make a link to allow users to add an event from the frontend? It should be easy right?

I attempted to create an external url for [index.php?option=com_events&task=new], but that just sent me to a blank screen.

It is simple, create a link to [index.php?option=com_events&task=edit] -- it's the "&task=edit" not "&task=new" that threw me. I haven't ever allowed front-end admin access before, so it wasn't quite intuitive enough.
