Want only certain users to be able to add / modify events

I don't see a way where I can put in a list of specific users in the back end who would be allowed to add and modify events.

Is this possible? Client wants only certain people - some might just be registered users one or two might be a publisher another might be an editor.

But since there would be other editors and regular registered users I don't know how to give these individuals the sole ability to add events...

Any thoughts?

There is currently no own user model for JEvents. If you allow registered users to add events, all registered users can do that.
