Admin email hang up

Hi all,

New to JE Events, running 1.4.2 on Joomla 1.5.9 in legacy mode, PHP 5.2.9 and Apache/2.

Installtion went fine. But then... I tried to configure, but it takes ages tryring to save and seems not to work. Then the system asks me this:

"Config sucessfully saved
Go to EVENTS CONFIG SECTION first and change EMAIL adress"
... for like 400 lines...

No configurations are saved. Trying only to change the email, logging out and in again, but nothing seems to help. So...anyone have a solution or an idea on where to look for it?

JEvents 1.5 is now released as stable but if you really want the old 1.4 series you should run 1.4.3 (not 1.4.2).

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. As far as I can see, there is only release candidates of both 1.4.3 and 1.5. I am not very keen on running test versions on my live site. Or have I missed where to find the stable releases?

1.4.3 is not a test version in reality it is just 1.4.2 with changes to make it Joomla 1.5 compatible.

1.5 has been released as stable - see the front page of this site.
