Events do not show on calendar or in latest events

Hi, I have the exact same problems as annsiegle so I will join this thread.
included are the demanded screens

after adding a new event :
I get the message (not an error): Agendapunt gewijzigd!
in english this means: agendaentry changed!
note the word changed! shouldn't this be "added"- in other words might be bug ?

looking at the year view: errors!

I moved this post since it relates to JEvents 1.4

Jevents 1.5 is almost ready for release - I would recommend you try this instead.
