mysql_real_escape_string() error

Hello,

jeevents 1.4.3 RC2 is installed very well locally with easyphp.
But as soon as I tried to install the first component of Jevents v 1.4.3 rc2 on my website, I have different problems.
for instance, after the installation of "com_events_1.4.3rc2" component , I wished to create my first category. But this message appeared :

Warning: mysql_real_escape_string(): 16575000 is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /mnt/139/sda/c/1/marc.lasserre/sitejoomla/libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 193

and " Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /mnt/139/sda/c/1/marc.lasserre/sitejoomla/libraries/joomla/html/html/select.php on line 68"

After updated the configuration of my category, I have the error , more time :
"mysql_real_escape_string(): 16575000 is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /mnt/139/sda/c/1/marc.lasserre/sitejoomla/libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 193"

plus an alert message "moscategory :::store failed -"

What are the differents problems?

what version of Joomla are you running? What version of MySQL?
