Component Problem

When I try to update the Component config file, I receive the message "waiting for ..... /administrator/index2.php. After something like 10 minutes waiting for anything to happen I simply gave up. This same situation was evident in the 5 times I have uninstalled and attempted to reinstal and update the config for this component.

The calendar module displays on the web page ok but I get 3 copies of the same month vertically and I can't figure out where to fix this. I haven't attempted to enter an event yet.

I'm not having a good time with this product and would appreciate some advice on how to overcome these problems.

need more info. Are you running this locally or on your host? What OS? What version of Joomla? What version of Jevents? PHP?

Everything is running on the host and I am not sure but suspect it's a Linux system. I am running Joomla 1.5.9 in Native mode and JEvents 1.4.2. Hope this helps.

Any reason not to upgrade to 1.4.3?
