Migration to a Joomla 1.5 site

Hi,
I'm considering moving my site from jomla 1.0.15 to Joomla 1.5
Is there a migration script for moving my existing list of events?
Waht version of jevents should I use on the j!1.5 site?

If there is no migration script then would there be any step by step insructions available ?
