Exceptions to Recurring Events

Is there any way to establish exceptions to an recurring event?

For example, if I want to have an event on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, except in November, can I do that?
If so, I cannot see how.

This is not supported with the 1.4.x release due to a restricted event model. But this is a feature of the upcoming 1.5.x release where events are based on the iCal standard.
