You can specify events that occur on a weekly basis as follows.  This example occurs every Wednesday between 4th December and 27 December.

If we use the "By Day number" as in the following image.  The event will repeat on the same day of the week as the start date - in this case a Monday since 4th December 2006 is a Monday.
